Dear Madams and Sirs,
First off, congratulations on your site and products, which are always interesting.
We are contacting you today for a very important unintentional mistake.
On your site, under the language packs, you use the term “Macedonian” for a Slavic language which is a Bulgarian Dialect.
A brief history:
Macedonia/Macedonian language/Macedonian people were and are a Greek (Hellenic) region/dialect/population.
Nowadays, an ex-Yugoslavian country, whose official name is FYROM, is in talks with Greece for its disputed name (only).
Under United Nations policy the county’s official name is F.Y.R.O.M.; "By resolution A/RES/47/225 of 8 April 1993, the General Assembly decided to admit as a Member of the United Nations the State being provisionally referred to for all purposes within the United Nations as "The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia" pending settlement of the difference that had arisen over its name.”
also see here: http://www.un.org/members/growth.shtml (1993 - 184 members)
On the European Union site, you will find the country under the letter "T", "The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia", as well as here
and on the same page in the left column under “Candidate Countries” with the name "Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia"
By using the name "Macedonia" or any derivative of it (either it is to determine its language and populace or anything else) for F.Y.R.O.M. it offenses 20 millions Greeks (Hellenes) all over the world. So, because of the many Greek (Hellenic) people who enjoy your products in Greece (Hellas) and of course from all over the world, we would be obligated if this correction is made. Thank you in advance.
