Unemployment in Turkey rose sharply to 15.5 percent in January, which put the country on the top of the list of the highest unemployment rate in Europe, along with Spain.
According to official data, Spain also posted 15.5 percent unemployment in February this year, however, Turkey is expected to exceed this figure.
Latvia, Belgium, Ireland and Poland are also at the top of the list of European countries with highest unemployment rates.
Overall unemployment rate in the Eurozone reached 8.5 percent
