Ο χρηματιστής Λεβί πήγε στον φίλο του Σάμπι, τον ειδικό διαμαντιών, για να του εκμυστηρευτεί τον πόνο του:
-Σάμπι, έστειλα το καλοκαίρι τον γιό μου στο Ισραήλ για να μάθει τα ήθη και τα έθιμα, αλλά και την ιστορία της πατρίδας, κι’ εκείνος γύρισε Χριστιανός.
- Κι’ εσύ Λεβί; Κι’ εγώ έστειλα τον γιό μου στο Ισραήλ και γύρισε Χριστιανός. Πάω να σκάσω. Δεν πάμε να συμβουλευτούμε τον ραββίνο;
Μια και δυο πάνε στον ραββίνο και του λένε τον πόνο τους, οπότε εκείνος τους λέει:
-Δεν ξέρω τί να σας πω. Κι’ εγώ έστειλα τον γιό μου στο Ισραήλ και γύρισε Χριστιανός. Ας προσευχηθούμε στον Θεό, μήπως και μας φωτίσει.
Καθώς προσεύχονταν ακούνε μια φωνή από ψηλά:
- Κι’ εγώ εκεί τον είχα στείλει!

A Jewish father was concerned about his son who was about a year away from his Bar Mitzvah but was sorely lacking in his knowledge of the Jewish faith.

As they prayed the clouds above opened and a mighty voice stated, "Amazing that you should come to Me. I, too, sent My Son to Israel."
