Low-cost airline easyJet has announced the cancellation of flights to and from Greece tomorrow (21 October). According to the airline the cancellations are a result of a strike of Air Traffic Control staff in Greece. easyJet will be cancelling flight number EZY8585 from London Gatwick to Athens and flight EZY8586 from Athens to London Gatwick. The times of flight number EZY5093 from London Gatwick to Thessaloniki and flight number EZY5094 from Thessaloniki have been changed to 11:15 and 16:35, respectively, (times are local). Passengers due to travel on the cancelled flights will be able to re-route to their final destination at the earliest possible opportunity or re-route to their final destination at a later date at their convenience, or cancelling the affected flight, in which case they will receive a full refund.
