Skopje. Macedonia will become member of the European Union only when it returns the Strumica region to Bulgaria. These are the words of Volen Siderov, leader of the Bulgarian nationalist Attack party, cited by Macedonian Dnevnik newspaper. Siderov’s party required that Bulgaria regains its territory, which is located in Serbia, and more precisely near the towns of Dimitrogvrag and Bosilegrad.

Citing FOCUS News Agency, the newspaper remarks that Dimitar Stoyanov, member of the European Parliament from the Attack party, has already left a declaration in the postbox of the Serbian ambassador to Sofia, after the ambassador refused to meet with Stoyanov. The declaration requires return of the Western outskirts, which Serbia got after the World War I. The action took place yesterday – the 89the anniversary since the singing of the Treaty of Neuilly-sur-Seine.
